I guess if your roof is leaking, it's fairly inefficient to go around setting buckets and plugging isolated cracks when there's obviously a bigger problem at hand. Like a busted pipe or shoddy shingles or something. It's hard to solve the problem, though, when you're looking and all you can see are pipes intact and roof secure. I feel like all I'm doing is setting buckets out. That's my Bob Villa metaphor of the week.
