The Early Write Program, from the Williams College application:
"In Februrary and March, a small number of Regular Admission candidates with superior qualifications receive early notification of acceptance. No special application is required and no response is expected of Early Write candidates until May 1."
Isn't that cool? If they really really like you, they'll notify you in february or march and you still won't have to respond until May. Williams isn't my top school, but it would be nice if i got in early just so I'd know that I'm going somewhere.
